The life of 8 month old Everett William!

Everett just turned 8 months old and keeps doing what babies do best filling our lives with joy and GROWING!!! Lately he has been cracking us up! He makes the silliest sounds and faces and believe me he knows he is being cute. This little guy has the most gorgeous eyes! Everywhere we go people compliment his big baby blues. We have another vocal baby on our hands. He has really been exploring the world of language and is quite the mimic. He tends to come up with his own colaborations that sound pretty close to what we just said. Let's see what else?

*He loves baths and will splash nonstop until Mommy or Daddy and the bathroom floor are soaked.

*Clearly says MaMa, DaDa, Ba Ba, Hi and just said Uh-Oh today.

*Loves to dance

*Is crawling and starting to pull himself up
*Plays peek-a-boo

*Thinks his big sister is the coolest person ever

*Likes to feed himself (what a mess) :)

*Loves to give kisses

*Shakes his head no and waves

*Loves to jump, jump, jump and JUMP!

*Enjoys cuddling with Bella while Mommy and Daddy read bedtime stories
*Thinks that diaper and clothing changes are the perfect time to show off his natural wrestling ability :)

*Has yet to get his first tooth

*Seems as though all is well in the world whenever he is in Mommy's arms

We are so blessed to have this sweet, charming, perfect little boy in our lives and hearts.

Seth and I think that she looks a lot like her cousin Dixie. Do you see the resemblance?

Pregnancy is beautiful!

Here's a peek from one of the two maternity shoots that I just did. I think I got some great shots! This is probably my favorite! It makes me wish that I had cute pictures done while I was pregnant. Check out the two most recent posts on my other blog to see more of the beautiful families waiting for their new arrivals.

Sorry I caved little man!

The other day Bella begged me to let her push Everett around in her doll stroller and I caved. It was just too cute! She even gave him a baby doll to hold. I think he is secure enough with his boyhood that he will recover just fine. I'm kidding we are cool with our boy being surrounded by pink and playing with dolls. He's 7 months old and it goes along with having a big sister. =)
It is funny though you put a car, truck, ball or any other so called boy toy in front of Everett and his eyes light up. Bella was and is the same way with girly stuff. I never knew that they were actually just naturally attracted to the toys of their gender. This may not be true with every kid but it sure is with mine. I guess I just assumed that children were somewhat taught what toys to be attracted to.
*I have updated down to The Magic of Christmas*

I am absolutely so in love with my family and photography!

My little photography business is starting to take off! Recently I got a studio set up with lighting and a couple backdrops! I have to say that I feel like a kid in a candy store. I've been having fun figuring out the new set up and my family has made for the perfect models. Even my sweet husband who isn't too fond of having his picture taken. For me he would pose for hours and not complain. He's marvelous! Here's a few pictures of my loves working the camera.

Zumba!

If you ever get the chance to take a Zumba class do it! We have a girl at church that is a certified Zumba instructor and out of the kindness of her heart she teaches Zumba for free at the church Thursday mornings. Everyone brings their kids along and they play as the Mommies get down to business. Zumba is full of lots of hip shaking, latin rhythms, belly dancing etc. It's such an invigorating break from the monotony of a regular exercise routine and I love it! It's like having a dance party with your girlfriends. So much fun!
