Christmastime at the Perry's!

I just love this time of year! Our house has been full of Christmas carols and sweet smelling treats! Now that Bella is almost 3 she is excited for the holidays in a whole new way. In her words she loves celebrating baby Jesus. She is also very curious about Santa. She can't wait to bake him cookies and she thinks she might just get a peek at him and his reindeer this year. Everett loves all the lights and the music and the candy cane his sister snuck him that he almost got to enjoy. =) I just love our little family! They are the truest gifts that just keep on giving. Thank you Seth, Isabella and Everett for making all of my Christmas and year round wishes come true! I am blessed!

Our Christmas tree has slowly been losing it's flair. Love you Bella Bear.

Cafe Ole eh?

Steve was recently in town again and Sharalyn, Seth, myself and the kids picked him up and we all went out to eat. We were craving P.F Changs but after hearing there was over an hour wait we opted for Cafe Ole in downtown Boise. We all shared the Fiesta platter and I get full just thinking about it. It was a massive amount of food and very tasty. Good time indeed!

Adding something new to the mix...

On top of running a company, being the best daddy/husband and gearing up for classes at BSU this January my hubby has a new love. He is taking guitar lessons! We are trading my photography services for his lessons. He has been entertaining us all with his newly found talent. He's had just a few lessons but is catching on quick and we are enjoying hearing him play and serenade us.

6 months already!

Whew time has flown by! Our little guy is already half a year old! It's hard to believe that he will be blowing out his first candles soon enough. He is so innocent and pure and just the sweetest little cuddle bug. He is a Mommy's boy all the way even though he loves to say DA DA. Oh and he just loves his big sister. She always gives him loves and keeps him entertained. He has completely won our hearts and is such a joy and blessing in our lives. We love you Everett baby!

I live for.... SURPRISES!!!

So most of you know that I am BIG on surprising people. I just love the thrill of a good surprise! Well, one of my best friends just turned 30 and I just had to get her. Here's how it went down. I texted my friend Monica and told her we needed to get a group together and take Sharla out for her birthday. Then with preparations in the making I called Sharla and put on a complete act about me just needing to get out for a night. Four days later, I picked her up and off we went to Red Robin. She loves that place. While waiting for the hostess to seat us I insisted that I saw someone that I knew in the back of the restaurant and told her to come with me to say hello. We walked up to the table where everyone had their menus in front of their faces and all dropped them shouting SURPRISE!!! We so got her! You should have seen her face. It was bright red for a good 20 minutes. It was a blast. Sharla is such an amazing person. She has had a great impact on my life and has been a remarkable example to me. She has been there for me through so much and I can't even begin to count all the people that she has inspired in her short 30 years. I just love her so much!

Gobble Gobble!

This Thanksgiving was a bit more low key than previous years. We had dinner here at our house with the Powells and my parents. It was actually kind of perfect and we really enjoyed it. Delicious food and great company. What more could you ask for? Though I have a festive apron on in these pictures don't let it fool you. My Mom saved me and did 70% of the cooking while I watched after the little ones. BTW look at my beautiful Mom. Can you believe that she just turned 60! The women is AMAZING!

Halloween and a special treat!

This Halloween we were graced with a visit from my brother Rick and his wife Shelby. Since moving to Idaho we now only see them a few times a year. So we cherish every visit and soak up as much of them as we can! This Halloween's festivities included; pumpkin carving, game playing, a Boise State game for the guys, a halloweenie roast with our neighborhood, a Halloween party at our friend Holly and Jason's house and of course trick or treating with Uncle Rick and Aunt Shelby! It is a Halloween that will not be soon forgotten. I love my family!

The guys heading off to the BSU game! Everett didn't go this time (too cold) but he had to be in a quick picture before they left.

An old BFF!

I was recently able to get together with an old high school friend! I had not seen Shanna in over 8 years! We got together a few years after high school and after that we completely lost touch. Well thanks to facebook we were reconnected! It turns out that her parents moved from Yucca Valley to Twin Falls which is just 2 hours from Boise. She flew here to see them and I was able to have dinner with her and also breakfast before she left. She is still the same amazing, talented, sweet Shanna Marie that I remember. We had the best of times back then just being silly girls and dancing, singing at the top of our lungs and laughing till we cried. I love the stage of life that I am in now but sometimes I really miss those carefree days of my youth.

4 months old!

It's hard to believe that my baby boy is already 4 months old! Actually, he is just days away from 5 months! Our little man is amazing! He now weighs 14 lbs and has a smile that will melt your heart. He is rolling over, eating solids and is extremely vocal. He likes to sing to us. =) He is also becoming a little flirt. Particularly with his Aunt Janess. She starts talking to him and he smiles, looks away and blushes. So cute! Everett just loves his big sister. It's a wondrous thing watching your kids interact at such an early stage in life. I love that they are quite fond of each other already.

I have really been enjoying my happy little guy. Not only do I enjoy snuggling him and admiring his charmful ways but I also have been having fun using him to improve my photography. He makes for a great model and rarely complains. LOL!
