Halloween and a special treat!

This Halloween we were graced with a visit from my brother Rick and his wife Shelby. Since moving to Idaho we now only see them a few times a year. So we cherish every visit and soak up as much of them as we can! This Halloween's festivities included; pumpkin carving, game playing, a Boise State game for the guys, a halloweenie roast with our neighborhood, a Halloween party at our friend Holly and Jason's house and of course trick or treating with Uncle Rick and Aunt Shelby! It is a Halloween that will not be soon forgotten. I love my family!

The guys heading off to the BSU game! Everett didn't go this time (too cold) but he had to be in a quick picture before they left.

An old BFF!

I was recently able to get together with an old high school friend! I had not seen Shanna in over 8 years! We got together a few years after high school and after that we completely lost touch. Well thanks to facebook we were reconnected! It turns out that her parents moved from Yucca Valley to Twin Falls which is just 2 hours from Boise. She flew here to see them and I was able to have dinner with her and also breakfast before she left. She is still the same amazing, talented, sweet Shanna Marie that I remember. We had the best of times back then just being silly girls and dancing, singing at the top of our lungs and laughing till we cried. I love the stage of life that I am in now but sometimes I really miss those carefree days of my youth.

4 months old!

It's hard to believe that my baby boy is already 4 months old! Actually, he is just days away from 5 months! Our little man is amazing! He now weighs 14 lbs and has a smile that will melt your heart. He is rolling over, eating solids and is extremely vocal. He likes to sing to us. =) He is also becoming a little flirt. Particularly with his Aunt Janess. She starts talking to him and he smiles, looks away and blushes. So cute! Everett just loves his big sister. It's a wondrous thing watching your kids interact at such an early stage in life. I love that they are quite fond of each other already.

I have really been enjoying my happy little guy. Not only do I enjoy snuggling him and admiring his charmful ways but I also have been having fun using him to improve my photography. He makes for a great model and rarely complains. LOL!
