Our Tiny Dancer!

Our little Miss Isabella Grace just made her first on stage appearance! On May 15th the Idaho Dance Company put on a production of Pinocchio and Bella and her class played Figaro's kittens. She was on a real live stage in the Jewett Auditorium at the College of Idaho. It was a little surreal seeing my baby girl up there under all the lights in her adorable costume and required stage make up. She really isn't my little tiny baby girl anymore. The show was fantastic and Bella did an outstanding job! We are so proud of her!

In our rush to leave the house I forgot the memory card to my camera and thus have no pictures from the night. Thank goodness we brought the flip and got it on video! I was unable to upload the video to my blog so youtube it is!

*Bella is second from the left. Notice how she helps her little friend Taylor out in the beginning. Way to go Bella!

We were thrilled to share this experience with both sets of grandparents! We really are blessed to both live near our parents while raising our own kids. I would have loved to have 2 Grandma's and 2 Grandpa's close by when I was growing up.

I think we may have another future dancer in the works. Everett was dancing throughout the show. Check him out here with Grandpa Perry! The boy has got some moves! Seriously there was a group of hip hop break dancing boys that performed and were just fantastic!

Sun Valley, Idaho

Last month we finally got to take our trip to Sun Valley. It was a birthday suprise from Seth! He got a killer deal on a one night stay and snowboard package. We ended up bringing the kids so we couldn't really snowboard. Nonetheless, we had an absolute blast thanks to the lovely accommodations of the Sun Valley lodge! We enjoyed the huge outdoor heated pool and were able to use our lift tickets to ride the enclosed lift up the mountain for lunch. We enjoyed playing in the snow, the live music and walking around the ritzy little town of Sun Valley. It was the perfect little get away!
